1The policy in short

  • Cancel before your first lesson and every pound you paid comes back.
  • For 14 days after you accept the lesson agreement you may withdraw for any reason, a right Egyptian law gives you.
  • Move or cancel any lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Free tutor replacement, whenever you ask.
  • Refunds leave us within 7 days of your request, back to the card, wallet or method you paid with.

2The prices you pay

Lessons are priced by the hour in Egyptian pounds, all-in, as Article 7 of the Consumer Protection Law requires, and each curriculum page shows the same price. Your lesson agreement states the exact price of your lessons before you pay anything. There is no registration fee and no admin fee: the lesson price is the whole amount.

Lesson prices as the site announces them

  • From EGP 150 an hour

    Egyptian Baccalaureate, Thanaweya Amma (General Secondary Certificate), Egyptian curriculum abroad, National identity subjects

  • From EGP 450 an hour

    IGCSE (Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel), American Diploma

  • From EGP 300 an hour

    Languages for adults

  • From EGP 100 an hour

    Quran and Arabic

Prices are in Egyptian pounds with every tax and charge included, and nothing is added at payment.

Every curriculum and its price

You pay Eduremo, and Eduremo pays your tutor for each lesson taught. A tutor never takes money from you directly, so every refund comes from us.

3Cancelling before your first lesson

Changed your mind before the first lesson? Tell us and we refund everything you paid, in full, within 7 days of your request. We keep back nothing, because everything you pay is for lessons.

The law gives you a second protection. For fourteen days after you accept the lesson agreement you may withdraw from it without giving a reason (Article 40 of Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018). Lessons you attend in that time are charged at the price in your agreement, and every lesson you have not used is refunded within 7 days. The right ends early in one case only: when you have used every lesson in the agreement within the fourteen days (Article 41).

4Stopping part way through a package

You can stop whenever you like, for any reason. When you stop after the withdrawal period, we count the lessons already taught and refund every paid lesson you have not used. If your agreement gave you a package price, the lessons taught in the month you stop are recalculated at the single-lesson rate, since the package was left unfinished, and the balance reaches you within 7 days of your request. You see the calculation, lesson by lesson, before the money is sent.

If you would like to move to another programme instead, the balance goes with you to the new lessons, and any credit you keep with us has no expiry date.

5Moving or cancelling a lesson

  • 24 hours or more before the lesson: move it or cancel it free of charge, with no reason needed.
  • Less than 24 hours before: message us and we agree another time with your tutor. When no other time can be agreed, the lesson counts as taught.
  • If the learner misses a lesson without notice, the tutor waits 15 minutes in the lesson room, and the lesson then counts as taught.

All times are Cairo time.

6When the problem is on our side

  • If your tutor cancels or misses a lesson, we move it to a new time at no cost, and it never counts against you.
  • Free tutor replacement: ask for a new tutor at any time and we match you with another, free of charge, as often as you need.
  • If a lesson falls short of what was agreed, we give it again or refund it (Article 25).
  • If 14 days pass after you ask and you still have no tutor you are happy with, we refund every unused lesson in full within 7 days.

7How to ask for a refund

Send your request through the enquiry form or any channel below, in Arabic or English, and start your message with the word “Refund”. Include:

  • the learner’s name;
  • the invoice number, or the date and amount of the payment;
  • the lessons you want cancelled or refunded.

We confirm your request within 1 business day and tell you the exact amount before we send it. For a learner under 18, the parent or guardian who accepted the lesson agreement sends the request.

8When and how the money comes back

We send every refund within 7 days of your request, as Article 40 requires, by the same method you paid with. A card or wallet payment goes back to that same card or wallet, which is how the payment networks route every refund. Your bank usually shows the amount within 5 to 10 business days after we send it, depending on the bank that issued your card.

We deduct no fee from a refund. If you would like to keep the amount as credit for future lessons, say so in your request and we hold it for you with no expiry date.

9What is not refunded

Three things, stated plainly:

  • lessons already taught;
  • lessons that count as taught under the 24-hour rule above;
  • the package discount for a month you stop early, as set out under “Stopping part way through a package”.

Everything else you paid for lessons comes back to you.

10Your rights

This policy adds to the rights Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 gives you, and any clause that removes a duty from the supplier is void (Article 28). If you paid by card, your right to dispute the payment with the bank that issued your card stays fully in place.

The rest of the service terms are in our terms of service.
